The main peak, with an elevation of 295 meters, is the highest peak in the southern part of Guangzhou. Huangshanlu Forest Park is named after the main peaks of Huangshan Mountain and Lushan Mountain. As Nansha is located at the geometric center of the Pearl River Delta, when the sky is clear and the clouds are light, standing at the highest peak of Huangshanlu Forest Park, one can overlook the panoramic view of Nansha, the mouth of Shiziyang Estuary, and the surrounding areas.

The park is designed in a natural way, with a bicycle greenway running through it. Pedestrians can take the stairs to reach the summit of a 295-meter mountain, where they can overlook the panoramic view of Nansha, with mountains, sea, and fields all within sight.

The landscapes vary in the four seasons
In terms of plant planning, the park proposes a landscape concept featuring flowers in all seasons, observable fruits and fragrances, and evergreen scenery throughout the year, making Mount Huangshan Lu Forest Park a tropical coastal forest scenic spot with distinct characteristics for viewing flowers in spring, enjoying shade in summer, admiring leaves in autumn, and appreciating forests in winter. For example, in spring, cherry blossoms and azaleas are in full bloom, in summer, the trees provide ample shade, in autumn, the maple leaves are enchanting, and in winter, one can admire the evergreen mountain forests.
Rich in humanities and history
The park boasts cultural landmarks such as the Opium War Fort Site and the Nine Kings Ancient Temple, as well as the Liyun Pavilion, erected in 1998, which features inscriptions by historical figures from Nansha. Furthermore, the tea garden dates back to the Ming and Qing dynasties, serving as a planting base for local tea farmers. These cultural landscapes enable visitors to immerse themselves in history while enjoying their visit.
